The Civil Association "The Smallest Maize" is a non-profit organization with more than a decade managing and administering public and private resources in a responsible and transparent manner. We have focused our efforts on creating educational programs and spaces for participation where adult and young women acquire fundamental experiences and tools, in a safe and equitable environment, generating the confidence to undertake organizational and action initiatives that respond to strengthening the areas food sovereignty, education, health, cultural training and community development.

The intensification and acceleration of all the various emergencies caused by the pandemic and climate change require innovative and immediate responses in order to adapt to these new ways of life. There is a need to strengthen women and young people in their ability to build a language representative of their individual needs and their environment so that they can identify options, acquire knowledge and create the basic conditions for decision-making. decisions and the implementation of strategic actions in favor of their own development in the face of the socio-environmental urgency in which we live.
